As a small local business, we have an intimate knowledge of the area. Our vehicle fleet is ready to meet regional demands, ensuring that every car or van rental experience with us is supported by a roadworthy and well-maintained vehicle.

• Our small fleet includes a diverse range of vehicles to suit any need, from solo travelers to groups of up to 15 people. Choose from a compact car, SUVs, a minivan, or a large passenger van for your perfect ride.

• Our rental service is streamlined for your convenience! The vehicle you rent is due back by 5pm the same day, no matter the pick-up time. Enjoy a hassle-free rental experience!

• Your rental vehicle will be conveniently located in the designated parking area nearest to your arrival point. Simply inform us of your mode of arrival, and we'll handle the rest. Detailed pickup instructions will be sent to you via email 14 to 30 days before your arrival.

• We do not sell insurance coverage for the rental vehicles - We advise you check with your personal insurance to make sure you are covered while in a rental vehicle for pleasure. Also, you should check with your travel insurance policy for any car rental coverages you might be entitled to.

• The "Renter," is automatically both payment cardholder and the first/primary driver (whether they plan to just ride along or do some driving) The renter, has the option to designate a second driver. Both the renter and a second driver must each secure full comprehensive, collision, and liability insurance coverage.

• These coverages ensure that there is sufficient coverage in case of an event. It will: (1) cover damage to the rental vehicle for any reason - such as damage due to wildlife (2) provides personal injury coverage to the renter, passengers in the rented vehicle, and others, and (3) covers rental vehicle in the event the rental vehicle is damaged or destroyed due to a collision while under contract with the renter.

• The renter is liable for any and all fees/fines incurred during the rental period and agrees to pay any applicable insurance deductible and assign all rights to collect insurance proceeds to the owner of Drive About Car Rental. The insurance must protect the renter's interests in both the USA and Canada.

• Many credit card companies offer collision damage waiver (CDW) for rental vehicles. It's advisable to verify with your credit card provider and ask about what it covers. A “collision damage waiver” does not include the required liability coverage, which must be provided also.

• Refund policy . A full refund is available if a cancellation is made five days or more before the reserved date. Cancellations made fewer than five days in advance are not refundable (with an exception). Re-booking is allowed upon request, without penalty, subject to availability.

• EXCEPTION: For guests arriving by Cruise ship other forms of public transportation, please check your email, first and see if we already initiated the refund due to a cancellation by a carrier (Cruise ship, Air, Ferry) if not, then contact us; refunds are offered based on confirmed travel cancellations by the carrier, preventing arrival on the scheduled date.

• To make an online reservation, simply click on "Book Now."

• We understand that plans can change; therefore, you may cancel your reservation for a full refund up to 5 days before your scheduled pick-up. The cancellation link is provided in the confirmation email, which you'll receive after booking. The cancellation button is located beneath the photo of the vehicle you've selected to rent.
